This article presents the results of research on the changes in dental hard tissue caused by fast-digesting carbohydrates in children and their improvement in treatment and prevention. Dental diseases caused by fast-digesting carbohydrates are of particular importance due to their prevalence, complexity of diagnosis and treatment. Studies conducted over the past twenty years have shown that oral diseases caused by fast-digesting carbohydrates account for up to 15% of cases, and these diseases, together with various syndromes, account for up to 24.5%.
