REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING ARTICLES TO THE “SOUTH ISLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE”
The main requirements for scientific articles submitted to the “SOUTH ISLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE” scientific journal are based on international standards.
1. The topic of the scientific article submitted by the author (or co-authors) must correspond to the columns of the “SOUTH ISLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE” scientific journal.
2. The article must have the following items within the framework of international standards: - Title
The title of the article must be short and clearly describe the research direction of the article. The title of the article must be presented in Uzbek, Russian and English.
- Information about the author of the article (Author information)
This section includes the author's name (with patronymic), place of work and position, academic degree and title, e-mail address, phone number.
- Article annotation (Abstract)
A brief annotation of the articles is given in Uzbek, Russian and English, not exceeding 10-12 lines. The annotation contains a brief description of the research problem, its relevance, the methodology for revealing the research problem, research results, and the author's scientific and practical contribution based on the content of the article.
- Keywords (Key words)
These are keywords that briefly describe the content and purpose of the article. In order to quickly find the article in the electronic search system google.com, scholar.google.com, it is recommended that each of the keywords be repeated an average of 6-8 times in the main text.
- Introduction (Introduction)
The introduction describes the research problem, its goals and objectives. The introduction should highlight the relevance and scientific significance of the research.
- Literature review
A literature review on the topic is an item that demonstrates the author's knowledge and imagination regarding the problem being researched. Literature analysis increases knowledge within the scope of this topic and helps to further clarify the questions arising from the research. As is known, any research work is created on the basis of previous knowledge created in this field. Literature review is carried out on the basis of journal articles in the field and other types of information sources
- Research Methodology
It is considered the most important part of the research and is the general map of the research being conducted, the direction of the research and the result. Determining the direction of the research, drawing up a plan aimed at solving the research problem, collecting the necessary information for the research, determining the ethics of the research, and making a decision on determining the research strategy is the path leading to a specific solution to the problem. The methodology part is manifested by substantiating the reliability of the chosen path for the research.
- Analysis and results
The analysis part of the research analyzes the collected data. In this case, only the results of the analysis method are expressed. The discussion of the results is the task of the next part of the article.
- Conclusions and recommendations
The determination of the goals and objectives of the research, the solution of the problems arising from the research, the main results of the research and general conclusions, proposals and directions of research work based on the research should form the basis of the conclusions and recommendations part of the article.
- References
This section lists all references used in the study in the order [1], [2] or [3]:
• authors' names, book title, publication address, publisher, year, pages;
• authors' names, article title, journal title, edition, year, issue, pages.
3. The text of the article must be typed in a single file in Microsoft Office Word. Margins from the top and bottom of the page, from the left and right sides - 2.0 cm; orientation - book format. Font - Times New Roman, size - 12 pt, line spacing - 1.0; line spacing - automatic. When constructing graphs and diagrams, Microsoft Office Excel should be used. The maximum length of the article should not exceed 10 pages, and the minimum length should not be less than 5 pages, and the number of references should be at least 10-15. Bibliographic references in the text should be listed in square brackets in the order listed.
4. Articles can be submitted in Uzbek, Russian, or English.
5. Articles that do not meet the requirements of the journal will not be considered by the editorial board.
6. All submitted articles are checked in the "Antiplagiat" system.
