Yurak-qon tomir kasalliklari va og‘iz bo‘shlig‘i patologiyalari o‘rtasidagi o‘zaro bog‘liqlik so‘nggi yillarda klinik va ilmiy jamoatchilik e’tiborida bo‘lib, ushbu ikki tizimning patofiziologik aloqalari chuqur o‘rganilmoqda. Yurak-qon tomir tizimi kasalliklari, jumladan arterial gipertenziya, ateroskleroz hamda yurak klapanlarining organik nuqsonlari, global sog‘liqni saqlash tizimi uchun eng dolzarb muammolardan biri bo‘lib qolmoqda. Og‘iz bo‘shlig‘i kasalliklari ichida kariyes, ildiz cho‘qqisi periodontiti va xususan surunkali parodontit yuqori tarqalish ko‘rsatkichlariga ega bo‘lib, ular ko‘pincha sistemik yallig‘lanish reaksiyasining surunkali manbai sifatida namoyon bo‘ladi. Shu nuqtayi nazardan, stomatologik aralashuvlar yoki oddiy gigiyena manipulyatsiyalari vaqtida bakteriyemiya yuzaga kelishi va natijada kasallikka moyil bo‘lgan bemorlarda yuqumli endokardit rivojlanish ehtimoli ortishi ilmiy asoslangan fakt hisoblanadi. Mitral klapan nuqsoni bo‘lgan bemorlarda og‘iz bo‘shlig‘i salomatligining buzilishi ko‘pincha parodont destruksiyasi va odontogen infektsiyalar bilan kechib, ularning yurak klapanlari integritetiga bevosita xavf tug‘diradi. Ushbu sharhda mitral klapan nuqsoniga ega bemorlarning og‘iz bo‘shlig‘i holatini tavsiflovchi zamonaviy adabiyotlar tahlil qilinadi. Maqsad — ushbu bemorlar guruhida og‘iz bo‘shlig‘ida kuzatiladigan o‘ziga xos morfofunksional va yallig‘lanish o‘zgarishlarini ilmiy manbalar asosida chuqur tahlil qilish.
